When I look at the Vermont landscape, I think of how I can incorporate it into my floral design. For instance, if a client asks for a wildflower style design, my imagination goes to a warm summer day in a hayfield in the Vermont countryside off some old dirt road. In my mind I see clover, different types of grasses, different ferns, and endless native wildflowers. Especially in fall, most people think red, orange, and yellow, but I think of bronze, browns, burgundies, and more subtle expressions of hues.
